Open Campus and TinyTap Unite with CodeGreen to Educate Kids on Climate Change, Land and Sustainability
As part of our latest commitment to driving climate change education awareness for kids, we are thrilled to announce a collaboration between CodeGreen, TinyTap and Open Campus. This innovative partnership aims to make a positive impact on our planet by educating and empowering the next generation about desertification, land degradation, drought, climate change and sustainability.
At the heart of this partnership lies a joint effort develop an engaging and educational course on TinyTap, centered around the captivating lore and characters of the HEALV3RSE game, available on The Sandbox. The game was created by CodeGreen in support of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and sets the stage for an immersive journey in the metaverse where kids can learn about desertification, land degradation, drought and climate change while having fun.
A key partnership goal is to cross-promote both partner’s initiatives. Open Campus and CodeGreen will work together to amplify awareness and engagement to help our mission to increase climate change awareness reach an even wider audience. As part of this effort, Open Campus will be offering exclusive NFT giveaways of HEALV3RSE avatar NFTs. These digital collectibles will serve as a token of appreciation to the Open Campus community who actively participate in our joint initiatives and encourage them to become active advocates for climate action.
We plan to adapt the captivating characters and storyline of HEALV3RSE into an educational course on TinyTap and Open Campus Labs, Open Campus’ content platform where learners can access a range of educational topics and earn POAP collectible achievements. With TinyTap’s reach extending to over 10 million families worldwide, we are poised to empower millions of young learners with knowledge to become environmentally conscious global citizens.
In the HEALV3RSE game, young players embark on an adventure through five immersive kingdoms of nature, each representing a fundamental element of our ecosystem — 🔥Fire, 💧Water, 🦒Animal, 🍃Air, and 🌳Earth. The goal is to complete quests and gather the legendary crystals from each kingdom, serving as an ingenious platform to introduce kids to essential concepts of climate change, sustainability, and environmental conservation in an enjoyable and accessible manner. We are excited to incorporate these aspects as we develop the new course on TinyTap.
