Welcome to the first edition of the Open Campus newsletter wrapping up highlights of each month, and what an incredible month August has been! 🚀
DAO Approval Milestone: We’re thrilled to announce that the DAO has approved the first four Open Campus Projects with resounding support. Each project received over 100,000 votes, marking a significant step forward. These initiatives include the establishment of a DAO governed by EDU holders, the introduction of a voting protocol, the launch of the Global Educators Fund Batch #1, and the proposal for the US$10 million Open Campus Accelerator (OC-X) program. OC-X is set to onboard 100 education companies into our ecosystem over the next 18 months, shaping the future of education.
Open Campus Teams Up with Binance Pay: In another exciting development, we’ve partnered with Binance Pay to simplify payments and promote the adoption of $EDU. This collaboration empowers educators, creators, and organizations to seamlessly integrate $EDU into their transactions. We’re committed to making education accessible and efficient for our community, and this partnership takes us one step closer to that goal.
Learn about Open Campus at Binance Academy: A Binance learn-and-earn course introducing Open Campus Protocol was launched on Binance Academy. This gives those who want to be a part of our movement a brief and complete introduction of what Open Campus stands for.
TinyTap Unleashes Cutting-Edge AI Game: TinyTap, our valued partner, has introduced an innovative AI game that is revolutionizing the way children learn. But that’s not all; TinyTap is also integrating $EDU into its platform, allowing Open Campus holders to use it as credits, similar to the ChatGPT model. The launch of TinyTap’s AI “Prompt-to-Game” BETA feature is already generating excitement. It enables users to input a topic prompt, and within minutes, TinyTap’s AI creates a customized educational game. This feature draws on a wealth of knowledge accumulated over a decade, including over 250,000 games, millions of activities, and more than 170 million plays. The possibilities for interactive learning are endless.
From Climate Change to Care Bears: TinyTap is embarking on an exciting journey by creating a climate change-focused course that incorporates elements from Code Green’s game, HEALV3RSE. This course integrates avatars and NFTs from the game, making learning about the environment engaging and interactive. HEALV3RSE allows players to explore environmental facts, make eco-friendly choices, and take healing actions for our planet. This partnership follows the successful launch of ‘Climate Change for Kids,’ aimed at raising awareness about climate change among younger generations. Open Campus continues to make strides in education, and our recent collaboration with Cloud Co Entertainment gives us the privilege of using the beloved Care Bears image, a cherished children’s product line.
