Open Campus October Recap: Cohort 2 Launch, Podcast Series, Official Merch, and Spooky Halloween Fun!
October has been a dynamic and eventful month for Open Campus, and we’re excited to share all the latest developments from our ecosystem.
As OC-X Cohort 1 concludes, OC-X Cohort 2 is launching with great momentum. Additionally, we’ve introduced a new podcast series called Open Campus Assembly, where we bring together innovative EdTech companies reshaping the Web3 education landscape.
Finally, we released our first-ever merchandise and closed the month with a spooky activation with Binance to celebrate Halloween.
OC-X Cohort 2
OC-X Cohort 2 is beginning with a fresh group of 10 outstanding founders representing diverse fields, including professional trainers, career mentors, and tech-focused learning providers.
Just like Cohort 1, these founders will have the chance to connect with our experts through workshops and one-on-one clinics to grow their businesses and explore possibilities in the Web3 space. Stay tuned to see the exciting innovations they’ll bring to Open Campus!

Open Campus Assembly — Podcast Launch
OC-X and OC Alliance give us the pleasure of meeting so many exceptional founders and innovators. That’s why we’ve launched a weekly podcast series, called Open Campus Assembly, hosted by @mocachief, our charismatic ambassador.
Join us as we introduce leading EdTech companies from the OC-X and OC Alliance communities. The podcast explores their plans to adopt Open Campus protocols and the impact Web3 tech will have on their businesses.
This is truly the place to be for those who want to know more about the frontier of Web3 education because you can hear it from the builders themselves!

Open Campus Merch
In October, we introduced our very first line of Open Campus merchandise. Our community voted on two fantastic items: a cool t-shirt design and a sleek notebook. Some fortunate community members have already received theirs, with many more chances to win these goodies.
Binance Halloween Campaign
Over the Halloween weekend, we joined the Binance Chinese community for some trick-or-treating fun. We offered trick-or-treaters the chance to win $EDU by completing spooky quests which brought some new friends into the OC community.
This was part of a larger campaign hosted by Binance to feature some of their favourite listings and was a great opportunity to remind the Binance community about the future of decentralized education powered by $EDU.
